A LITTLE GUIDANCE GOES A LONG WAY

Meet your website.
Make yourself at home.

From your first installation to the final detail, here is how to get moving with Prism.

Install Prism

You need a domain and WordPress hosting with WordPress 6.7 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer. Hosting and domain registration are purchased separately.

  1. Download your theme and companion plugin from your account. If using the complete delivery ZIP, extract it first.
  2. In WordPress, open Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme. Upload the individual Prism theme ZIP and activate it.
  3. Open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Upload the Prism Core ZIP and activate it.
  4. Open the new Prism dashboard in your WordPress administration menu.

The optional child theme is a starting point for code customizations. Everyday visual changes belong in the dashboard or Site Editor. Your installed website does not need Node.js or a build toolchain.

Choose a starter

Open Prism → Starter sites. Preview a design, then choose what to import. You can import individual pages or the complete starter.

Content, colors/typography, navigation, and homepage activation are separate choices. Imports preserve existing pages. Pages start as drafts unless you explicitly activate the homepage. Review your content before publishing.

If an import is interrupted, resume its existing job. The recovery tools check ownership and preserve content you have since edited.

Make it yours

Use Prism → Brand & styles to change colors, heading and body fonts, button shape, spacing, and site width. These settings use native WordPress Global Styles.

Inside the editor, open the Prism sidebar to search the section library. Preview a section, insert it after the selected block, and replace the content. Sections inherit your site’s design tokens, so you can combine ideas from different demos.

Page settings can override the global header, footer, width, and title visibility. For font uploads or the full type scale, use WordPress’s Font Library and Global Styles.

Forms and bookings

Prism includes design and integration support; the providers own submissions and bookings. Install and configure them separately:

  • Contact Form 7 + Flamingo: contact forms and saved inquiries.
  • Simply Schedule Appointments Basic: appointment scheduling.
  • Restaurant Reservations: reservation requests with staff approval.

Open Prism → Integrations to connect the selected provider. Test email delivery and a real submission on your own host. Demo timetables and gym pricing are editable marketing content; they do not reserve group capacity or charge memberships.

Updates and activation

  1. In your PrismWP account, select your purchase and generate a production or staging connection code.
  2. In WordPress, open Prism → License & updates and connect using that short-lived code.
  3. Use WordPress’s normal update screen when a new compatible release is available. Automatic updates remain your choice.

Keep Prism Core active to receive native update notifications. Parent theme and plugin updates preserve your child theme. If you move domains, reconnect the installation or remove the old activation from your account.

Your website continues working after coverage expires. Previously covered releases remain downloadable; a manual $39 renewal provides another year of new updates and technical support. Single-site WordPress supports automatic activation; multisite installations use account downloads and manual updates.

Getting help

Open a ticket in your customer account and include the page or block involved, what you expected, and the steps that produced the issue. Do not send passwords, private keys, or other credentials.

Technical support covers Prism setup and theme-related problems during active coverage. Bespoke development and unrelated third-party products are outside that coverage. Billing help and existing ticket conversations remain available after expiry.

For a refund, submit your request within seven days of payment. You can also contact us directly.
